The mission of armenians
The history of the Armenians can not be understood, if one doesn’t know about their belief , starting from the first Christian proclamation, which according to the tradition is ascribed to the Apostles Bartholomew and Thaddeus, the events of the Armenian people are constant witness of faithfulness toward Christ the Lord, which is stronger than life. This experience of suffering and martyrdom has deeply marked the multiple, rich expressions of the Armenian sensitivity. It has given rise to very high pages of spirituality, centered on the mystery of the Cross as well as suffering that saves, the unshakable certainty that in the Risen Lord, in spite of persecutions and sufferings, death, defeat, gives way to the life that knows no sunset. This inextricable tangle of melancholy and hope is a constant Armenian soul.
